Spinach
I was not very fond of spinach leaves when I was a child - I much preferred the creamy version. Although I still love cream spinach (which is also great for sauces or even soups), I have more and more become a friend of spinach leaves, too. But only since I moved to Japan it has become a regular guest in my fridge. Steamed in sake and soy sauce and/or marinated in a creamy sesame dressing it tastes just delicious! So spinach definitely deserves its own section.
